Mabel

Mabel Modrono had a professional dance career of over 25 years. She was a Principal Ballerina for Miami City Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet. After having suffered a foot injury Mabel discovered the Lotte Berk Method and trained to become a teacher. As a result of Barre, she found “a new strength” which led to a new chapter in her dance career on Broadway. She joined the Broadway musical “Movin’ Out”, performing the principal role of Judy. She then joined the Phantom of the Opera, understudying the lead role of Meg until 2014 when she gave birth to her daughter Skylar. For the next eight years, Mabel joined Exhale as a barre teacher and manager. Currently a Studio Director and Business Development Manager at FORME, she was drawn to the Method’s thoughtful and intentional practices and focus on alignment. Mabel’s passion and experience of dance training are evident in every class.
