The Forme Method Barre Class
The FORME Method is a dynamic, 60 minute class that combines elements of classical ballet, yoga, pilates and strength training. The class mixes intense muscle training with recovery stretching that results in a long, lean physique with gorgeous tone. Our knowledge base has expanded exponentially in the last few years, and we have started to develop sequences and props that are exclusively ours. Our Alignmats, which are completely bespoke, were developed by our senior team over a period of 18 months. The dimensions and materials were thoughtfully analyzed and tested until we found the perfect compliment for the exercises in our method. Each one is hand sewn. This is a prop that supports ideal alignment of the spine, hips, knees and ankles in our various positions.

Our team regularly consults with alignment and movement specialists, physical therapists, and classical ballet trainers to ensure the safest, highest quality instruction possible. We pride ourselves on providing our students with hands-on guidance and verbal cues to help maximize every exercise.
Intensity & Recovery: A Powerful Combination
The foundation of the Forme Method is in sustaining positions — your muscles have to generate a lot of force to hold your body for an extended period of time — and the result is deep muscle engagement that gets to burning (ok, perhaps shaking!) and toning your muscles.
Then, we immediately enter into a recovery phase of stretching to avoid bulk and create lean and toned muscle - providing a balance of intensity and release that is nothing short of addicting.
